Stewards of the Southwest
The annual Stewards of the Southwest Summit, (formerly known as the New Mexico Tribal Forest & Fire Summit) brings together Tribal and Indigenous foresters, practitioners, natural resource managers, emergency departments, NGOS, and state & federal agencies to center the needs, challenges, and successes of Tribal forestry and fire management in the U.S. Southwest. Join us for the 2026 Stewards of the Southwest Summit to procure resources, build capacity, participate in knowledge exchange, and collaborate in a network focused on the healthy future of Tribal lands.
